Karpatenwolf Expedition Trucks GmbH was founded in 2026 in Gerolsbach, Bavaria – with the goal of building expedition vehicles that, for the first time, truly combine safety, reliability, off-road capability, agility and sustainability in a single vehicle.
Born from a Gap in the Market
Anyone looking for a high-end expedition vehicle has so far had to make compromises: vehicles that are either off-road capable or comfortable, either agile or cumbersome. Karpatenwolf closes this gap – with a design that is built on CAD and FEM analysis for the whole vehicle from the very start, instead of assembling components after the fact.
Based on the Tatra Phoenix 8x8 AWS, the Batura becomes our first flagship, followed by the more compact 6x6 model line, the Kudura. Every vehicle is a made-to-order build, tailored exactly to its owner's wishes.
